Fox Run Golf Course, previously named Alban Hills Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in the foothills of the Adirondacks in Johnstown, New York.
Fox Run Golf Course first opened for play in 1981. The course was designed by Artillio Albanese. The course has been redesigned to accommodate the expansion of the neighboring public airport.
Fox Run Golf Club has an undulating front nine with one pond coming into play. the back nine is longer, flatter, and straighter, and two ponds come into play. Some of the greens are elevated. The front plays like a traditional links style course. Front side is long and open. Back side is narrow and shorter.
They offer memberships but are also open to the public. The course has views of the Mohawk Valley as well as the Adirondack Mountains. Our course has 5 sets of tees boxes to accommodate the beginner as well as the accomplished golfer.
